Restaurant Review: Samantha's Bistro

The first time I ever visited Samantha's was with my friend. We were actually quite bored and hungry so we felt we should go out to eat as thats what we love doing. I had been hearing of the place "Samantha's Bistro" for quite sometime so I felt we should go there to give it a try. After taking a long look at the menu, I finally ordered a chicken burger with a Mojito, praying in my mind that it actually doesn't end up a waste of my money and guess what?? I didnt!  I was very wary of the mint leaves in the drink. It reminded me of ugwu leaves but it was really nice.

Next time I ate their burger was at the GT Food and Drink Fair, I had the buttermilk chicken club. Their burgers are very good. Its prepared from scratch so its always very fresh. However, you have to wait till the food gets ready (If you are verryyyyy hungry its not so advisable you go there). Ultimately, the food is really good. For lunch, you’ll be looking to spend at most 7000 naira, drinks included, so its fairly affordable.
The space is actually very nice, although its in the like boy's quarters of a building. Looks like a good spot to hangout and just have drinks with your guys. I give the place a 7/10.
You should check it out!

Have a great weekend,

Hey pancake lovers, hope you enjoy this!

Home made pancakes are ultimately the best! Got the heart shaped pancake pans online (www.dealdey.com) for a quite affordable price. It is indeed more easier and less stressful to use than the normal frying pan. You should give it a try if you haven't! Making pancakes is actually easy;

Ingredients

  1. Flour
  2. Eggs (number depending on the amount you are making. Usually about 3 - 4 should be fine)
  3. Granulated sugar
  4. Liquid milk
  5. Nutmeg
  6. Onions (everything depends on what you like as an individual but for this, we used just nutmegs).
  7. Vegetable oil
Cooking process

  • Beat your eggs in a bowl
  • Add it to the bowl of milk, mix both together till it gets foamy
  • Add your flour
  • Add sugar to the mixture for taste.
  • Beat the mixture well till its very smooth then pour into the pans (You dont need to oil the pans if it is a non-stick pan).
  • Put the pan on the fire and wait for about 2mins. When the side directly on the cooker is taking shape, quickly flip the pan over for the other side to fry, this shouldnt take much time.
  • Before you know, your pancakes are ready. Serve hot with lemon sprinkled on it or whatever! Dont foget to share your heart shaped pancakes with the ones you love. Enjoy!

PS; The pans come in different shapes
