Mix & Match

Tips to keep you looking smashing all through the semester.

Everyone gets the feeling that they are out of clothes. We can never have enough clothes but at the same time we can; it's all about improvisation. Most times we can't wear a dress because it's too short, everyone has seen that dress or the dress doesn't go with your mood... There's no problem because there's a solution.
·         You can wear that short fitted dress with a flared or fitted skirt by tucking it in.
·         You can change a free dress to a Bella dress by adding a belt.
·         You can fold in the collar of your shirt and turn it into a bishop collar (better done with an iron).
Those are some little tricks you can do to help you rotate your clothes without anyone noticing. Another reason why people get stuck in the outfit issue is because they wear the same combination every time. This makes it easier for the picture of your outfit to get stuck in anybody's head. Try to combine differently, explore your outfits in any form possible.
This problem which is common among students happens at the resumption period. Obviously everyone buys one or two new clothes before coming back which is good. But most people wear all their new clothes during the first week of classes which is a big mistake. Yeah you have to start the session shinning but in all institutions lecturers hardly come for classes on the first week of resumption neither do student go. Sometimes it flows into the second week of school. Try not wearing all your new clothes on the first week on school. You can start on the third week when everybody is around to see that beautiful skirt you got or that shirt that's Jamais Vu. Also, combine these new clothes with the old ones to make it sufficient. You can also create a trend of wearing one new outfit a week, just keep rotating them ( better done on the days when you have classes all day and you'll be walking around the school) hahaha.
Well, I know with these little tricks and tips you can survive through the semester without worrying about clothes.

Hello guys, hope you're having a lovely week. My week has been "just there" nothing exciting happening. Were you at the eatdrink festival last Sunday? What did you think about it? For me, it wasnt so bad but it was really full and for those that brought cars, I'm sure they found it hard finding a space to park. Oh well Oh well whats the next event you're going for this summer? Hope it goes well *fingers crossed*

Today I have something different from the whole food ish. We'll be featuring a lovely young lady who from her young age had a great passion for fashion. I had the privilege of studying with her in Secondary school & a double privilege of being in the same university with her. Apart from her creativity, she's also a very lovely lady with an amazing personality. She's currently in Babcock University studying Economics. She does her fashion designing business on the side. Shes a great model for those who want to follow their dreams. Go to school, get that degree but it also doesn't stop you from doing what you love be it singing, dancing, sewing, etc but remember to always be the best in whatever you are doing.

So today, we'll be featuring *drum roll* Efeni Lydia, CEO of Jemzais Vu (Never seen) fashion line & she'll be giving us tips on how to mix and match our clothes most especially in school where we feel we repeating clothes is an abomination.

Olubunmi Owa street,
Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Hello guys, this weekend I went to check out Mango room restaurant. Its a new restaurant in Lekki. What really pushed me to going there was the bubble Tii I really wanted to have and it was amazing, trust me. The restaurant is not so big but its comfortable.

It costs about 1000 naira depending on the size. So refreshing! Have yours today.

Whats on the table?
Notice their food menu doesn't come with the price? hahaha I'm sure they purposely did that so you wouldnt get discouraged.
Anyway, I wanted to have the lamb in curry sauce and rice but the sauce wasnt available so I ordered for the Chicken in curry sauce.

I already ate a spoon before I remembered I hadnt taken a picture lol!
The food was really nice and was worth the price (3200) although thats still expensive. Everything was good till I started eating the chicken. Before today, I actually thought restaurants threw some odd parts of the chicken away like the bum, neck etc I was quite disappointed when I started eating it after paying 3200..... imagine. So I called them and my name was taken down, they owe me a complimentary meal whenever I come in ;)
The chef should be more careful next time. Asides that, everything else was fine and I enjoyed meal.

Have a nice week.
